New Solutions is certified according to ISO 27001:2013

Burghausen, February 19th, 2015 - New Solutions GmbH has an effective information safety management system (ISMS) according to ISO/IEC 27001:2013. That was confirmed by TÜV Rheinland with a certificate end of January. The certification refers to the implementation of software development projects as the standard sofware products like Finito, Checkware and Synoset.

"The main goal of our information safety management is that our customers and our own data are safe from data loss or further damages", explains Wolfgang Sendl, the information security manager of New Solutions. " Therefore we have recorded all our business processes within the last six months, evaluated possible risks and implemented around 150 single measure against it."

We introduced encrypted USB sticks and screen filters for travelling employees so they are safe from curious side glances. We have an emergency center outside the company building as well where all customer and company data is secured again. This ensures that no data is lost and that New Solutions will be able to work and to support their customers within maximum 24 hours even after a large fire. Furthermore the software house reported and proved its' compliance to in general valid laws about data security or brand rights and copyright.

Competitive advantages between customers

New Solutions expects competitive advantages from the acknowledged and international comparable accreditation. Sales and marketing manager Christian Grabmaier says: "The proof of competence makes it easier for large companies to choose a suitable service provider. Some pharmaceutical company already requested the certification".

To maintain the achieved goals New Solutions established a continous improvement process with internal and external audits. "As CEO I am supporting the certification a 100 %. We will do everything to maintain a maximum of information security for us and our customers", emphasizes Christian Ehrenschwendtner.
